At the Roman Catholic Diocese of Agats office here on Thursday (June 1), the minister expressed her intent to commemorate the birth of Pancasila by materializing it into actions.
"We are keen to realize more than just the unity of Indonesia and social justice tenets (of Pancasila) so as to allow residents in Asmat to understand the meaning of Pancasila together with us," Rismaharini stated.
The assistance provided for locals on the ministry's social empowerment agenda in the sub-district comprised 27 fiberglass long boats developed with support from the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) and its components, a pair of pigs for 500 recipients, and clothing.
More assistance will be provided for Agats residents, including catfish seeds, shrimp ponds, and water salination facilities to provide fresh water for locals, she remarked.

The minister confirmed to have also urged an ITS engineer to stay in Asmat District to expedite the development of fiberglass boats with local young engineers for Pancasila Day.
"(The engineer) did not return home for Eid al-Fitr (last April) after I asked him to complete the boats by (June) 1, the Pancasila Day, because I want to celebrate Pancasila Day with our brothers in Asmat," Rismaharini stated.
During his visit to Agats, the minister visited the shipyard where the 27 fiberglass boats were developed. She also joined the fiberglass boat convoy passing Suru Port to its destination at Ewer Port.
The red-and-white flag and slogans to promote nationalism to residents were attached to every fiberglass boat participating in the convoy. Some of the slogans read, "Pancasila and actions", "Unity makes strength", and "Indonesia is now more advanced".
