She highlighted that the presence of Bibit.id, a leading digital investment app, had helped investors diversify their investment portfolio in various asset classes.
"Various asset classes include mutual funds, primary and secondary government bonds, such as Retail Government Bonds (ORI), Retail Savings Bond (SBR), Sharia Bond Savings (ST), Retail Sharia Bonds (SR), Fixed Rate (FR), and stocks," she remarked.
On June 5, 2023, President Joko Widodo symbolically awarded bonus to athletes and officials that clinched medals at the SEA Games 2023.
As a follow-up to the president's message, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia appointed Bibit.id, a leading digital investment app, to provide financial and investment education to athletes and officials that bagged medals at the SEA Games 2023.
With support from the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora), Bibit co-organized a hybrid event titled "In Great Athletes There Lies a Healthy Finance" on Monday, June 19, 2023, at Wisma Menpora, Senayan, Jakarta.
Moderated by Felicia Putri Tjiasaka, this event also featured Deni Ridwan, Director of Sovereign Debt Instruments of the Directorate General of Financing and Risk Management (DJPPR), the Ministry of Finance of RI, and financial advisor Prita Ghozie as speakers.
Meanwhile, Indonesia's Minister of Youth and Sports Dito Ariotedjo lauded Bibit for its dedication in educating the public to invest in the right way and build a better financial future.
"Majority of the recipients are athletes under 25 years old. Thus, we find it crucial to collaborate with Bibit to provide financial education and literacy, so that younger athletes as well as all officials and team members can make the most of this moment to invest in the right way," Ariotedjo remarked.
