She received Wang at the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pancasila Building, Jakarta, around 2:57 p.m. local time.
After signing the guest book, Wang and his entourage held a separate bilateral meeting with Indonesia before joining the trilateral meeting with Russia.
Around 3:29 p.m. local time, Minister Lavrov arrived at the Pancasila Building with his entourage and was greeted by Minister Marsudi. The trilateral meeting began after Lavrov signed the guest book.
During the meeting, Minister Marsudi said that Indonesia is open to communication and dialogue with anyone.
At the same time, it will always be firm and consistent in upholding international laws, and all values and principles of the UN Charter, she added.
She said that during the meeting, Wang and Lavrov emphasized respect for ASEAN centrality.
Marsudi said that both expressed support for Indonesia's ASEAN chairmanship. They also support ASEAN centrality, and described the forum held by ASEAN as a very strategic one where all key players in the region can sit and discuss the regional situation.
The Indonesia-China-Russia trilateral meeting was part of a series of events organized under the 56th ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting (AMM) with dialogue partner countries.
Besides China and Russia, ASEAN's other dialogue partners include India, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, South Korea, the European Union, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States.
