Jakarta (ANTARA) - Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PAN-RB) Minister Abdullah Azwar Anas has urged PT Taspen to innovate and make breakthroughs, including by integrating its services through one-stop digital and non-digital platforms.

PT Taspen is a state-owned enterprise (SOE) tasked with managing government employees' old age savings and pension funds.

"To face the increasingly dynamic challenges ahead, it is necessary to create innovations and breakthroughs. To that end, the president director and heads of branch offices can determine the priority scale first," he said.

Minister Anas made the statement while delivering his opening remarks at the 2023 National Working Meeting (Rakernas) of Taspen in Jakarta on Tuesday.

The minister highlighted the importance of optimizing digital technology in efforts to transform public services, adding that working units within the SOE must collaborate to integrate services into a single digital platform, thereby reducing the number of existing applications.

A single integrated digital platform will provide more convenience to the public in accessing the services offered by the SOE, he explained.

In terms of offline services, the minister invited Taspen to make the most of public service malls (MPPs) to offer services in a single place, together with other government and private agencies.

"Taspen may partake in MPPs scattered in various regions. By doing so, Taspen can facilitate people wishing to access its services in a single place," he said.

He also appealed to the SOE to be more proactive in offering its services in the hope of providing even greater impacts and benefits for the public.

Meanwhile, President Director of PT Taspen A. N. S. Kosasih said that Rakernas serves as a forum for exchanging ideas and visions as well as building cohesiveness among the company's employees serving in Jakarta and other regions.

"We will continue to make breakthroughs, with the objective of providing a higher level of convenience to the people, as pushed by the PAN-RB minister," he added.

He then urged all employees of Taspen, including directors, to continue to work in synergy in efforts to provide accessible and quick services.
