"Tomorrow (September 6), in addition to the discussions and leaders' talks, we will have business matching that will involve more than 129 companies," SOEs Deputy Minister Rosan Perkasa Roeslani said at the AIPF press conference here on Tuesday.
Indonesia is holding the "AIPF: Implementation of the ASEAN Outlook on the Indo-Pacific" in parallel with the 43rd ASEAN Summit and the East Asia Summit, which aims to build stronger and more inclusive collaboration between ASEAN members and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
According to Roeslani, his ministry will showcase 35 SOE projects and 4 projects from the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) during the business matching.
Meanwhile, 11 projects from other ASEAN countries will also be featured in the business matching program, he added.
"We estimate that the business matching will result in cooperation worth US$50 billion consisting of the 35 SOE projects worth US$22 billion, US$10 billion from Bappenas' projects, and from projects coming from the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Brunei Darussalam, which totaled US$810 million in worth," he said.
He informed that the 35 SOE projects involve MIND ID, PT Pelindo, PT Krakatau Steel, PT Bio Farma, PT PLN, Pupuk Indonesia, PT Angkasa Pura I, PT Pertamina, PT ASDP, PT Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia (InJourney), and PT Danareksa.
The projects that will be showcased during the business matching include the aluminum smelter project of MIND ID, PT Pelindo's Benoa Port development, and the green hydrogen project involving PT PLN and Pupuk Indonesia, he added.
"There is the green hydrogen project by PLN in collaboration with Pupuk Indonesia, which is approximately worth US$5 billion," he continued.
Another project is the construction of a toll road connecting Nusa Dua-Ngurah Rai in Bali.
"We also offer management cooperation with Angkasa Pura I, for instance, the Yogyakarta airport that is open to be managed together," he said.
