Nanning, China (ANTARA) - Indonesian Vice President Ma'ruf Amin arrived in Nanning City, Guangxi, China, on Friday to attend the 20th China-ASEAN Business Investment Summit.

The VP is scheduled to meet Chinese Premier Li Qiang and Guangxi Governor Lan Tianli during his visit.

Amin will also attend the opening ceremony of 2023 China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO).

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning earlier said that the CAEXPO 2023 is expected to be an important platform for deepening China-ASEAN cooperation and promoting regional economic integration.

"We will strive to promote trade and investment liberalization and facilitation between China and ASEAN," she said.

Amin landed in Nanning after visiting Fujian, where he met with Chinese business leaders.

During the meeting, he invited Chinese halal business players to invest in Indonesia.
