During the commemoration of the 22nd anniversary of the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo), he asked young ASNs to actively participate in the national digital transformation acceleration program.
"I hope that young state employees can be drivers of innovation. On various occasions, I have emphasized that the keywords are only two: digital transformation and digital innovation," he said in a statement on Friday.
He added that Kominfo plays an important role in encouraging digital innovation and supporting the creation of digital talents.
Setiadi expressed hope that young ASNs would do their best to make Indonesia a digital nation.
Young ASNs' contribution is essential to helping achieve the Golden Indonesia 2045 goal, when the country will mark 100 years of independence, he said.
"I hope all Kominfo staff members, especially young ones, really take care of and give their best to the ministry," he said.
Setiadi on Thursday invited Kominfo's ASNs in charge of making important decisions to emulate and inculcate a leadership spirit like the nation's first Vice President, Mohammad Hatta.
He said that Hatta, as one of the nation's founding fathers, demonstrated a leadership spirit that was based on optimism, which can be emulated by the public in developing the country.
