"The technology company, Thales, is taking part in the development of Nusantara Capital City, so that it is able to create a city based on the concept of a smart city," Head of OIKN Bambang Susantono noted in his statement in Jakarta, Monday.
Susantono remarked that the development to be conducted will not only focus on creating a city with good technological infrastructure but the focus will also be on technological infrastructure that can be built based on the characteristics of IKN Nusantara, such as green, inclusive, smart, tough, and sustainable.
Apart from participating in the development of technological infrastructure at IKN Nusantara, the French technology company also partakes in providing training to the relevant community, so that the members are able to adapt to existing technological changes.
"Changing a civilization is not easy. This is because Indonesia is a developing country," Susantono stated.
The strategy that can be implemented to enable the society to adapt to technological changes is to provide equal opportunities to all people to participate in existing technological changes and prioritizing environmentally sustainable aspects.
One way in which this can be achieved is by involving the community in various technology-based programs, such as coding mom, coding disable, and solar mom.
