Vice President Amin arrived at Maximos Mansion at 9:30 a.m. local time and was greeted directly by PM Mitsotakis at the entrance to Maximos Mansion. The two then took a photo together before entering the PM's official office.
They then walked into Maximos Mansion located in the center of the city and opposite the Athens National Garden.
Vice President Amin and PM Mitsotakis then entered the room and began a closed-door meeting.
Until this report was published, the two leaders were still holding meetings behind closed doors.
Amin's meeting with PM Mitsotakis was held on the third day of the vice president's state visit to the country. This is the vice president's first working visit to European countries.
During the meeting, the vice president was accompanied by Indonesian Ambassador to Greece Bebeb A. K. Nugraha Djundjunan, Head of the Vice President's Secretariat Ahmad Erani Yustika, and Special Staff to the Vice President for Communication and Information Masduki Baidlowi.
Before meeting with the prime minister, Vice President Amin also met with Archbishop of Athens Ieronymos II and Deputy Speaker I of the Hellenic Parliament Ioannis Plakiotakis.
In front of the parliamentary leaders and Greek religious figures, Vice President Amin discussed the importance of maintaining world peace and strengthening religious tolerance and efforts to intensify cooperative relations between both nations in the economic sector.
After visiting Greece, the vice president will continue his working visit to Slovakia and Malaysia until November 29, 2023.
