Samarinda, E Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Balikpapan City, East Kalimantan, was honored with the ASEAN Clean Tourist City Award at the 2024 ASEAN Tourism Awards held in Vientiane, Laos, on January 22-27, 2024.

"We hope this award will provide a value of trust in destinations in Balikpapan City, so that they are increasingly in demand among both domestic and foreign tourists," Acting Head of the East Kalimantan Provincial Tourism Office Ririn Sari Dewi stated here on Wednesday.
