"We are formulating tactical and technical steps related to strategies for the launch and post-launch of GovTech Indonesia. President Jokowi has decided to call our GovTech INA Digital," he noted in a statement received from his office in Jakarta on Tuesday.
Anas made the statement during a meeting on INA Digital preparations with Team GovTech Edu and Tony Blair Institute in Jakarta on Monday (February 5).
The minister explained that the establishment of INA Digital serves as the implementation of Presidential Regulation No.82 of 2023 concerning the acceleration of digital transformation and integration of national digital services in a bid to expedite transformation in nine priority sectors.
The priority sectors involve health care, education, social aid, digital ID, Satu Data Indonesia services, financial transactions, integration of postal services, state apparatus services, and online driving license.

Anas then urged ministries and institutions related to the nine priority sectors to immediately digitize their services while coordinating with state-owned currency printing enterprise Peruri.
He noted that INA Digital would play a vital role in supporting ministries, institutions, and regional governments to develop and integrate quality technology in their efforts to devise solutions to create efficient public services that are instrumental for ensuring continued digital transformation.
"Indonesia will enter an era of integrated, efficient, effective, and people-oriented public services. Public services will no longer be institution-oriented," he pointed out.
He then expressed hope that INA Digital would facilitate the government to integrate and digitize public services, both at the national and regional levels.
"Hopefully, INA Digital will make public services more accessible and beneficial to the people," he concluded.
