"We are facilitating and accommodating the residents of Sepaku who are proactive and have the desire to move forward. Do not let the residents only become spectators of the development of Nusantara City," Head of OIKN Bambang Susantono stated in Penajam on Saturday.
He expressed hope that all residents of Sepaku District would become actors and not just spectators.
Residents must be able to make the most of opportunities to create and innovate, such as selling on websites or applications in the form of selling online with e-commerce, which will be facilitated by OIKN.
"Residents of Sepaku Sub-district can sell handicraft products, packaged food products or culinary delights and so on," he remarked.
Currently, he stated that Nusantara City continues to undergo physical and administrative development, so that residents of Sepaku Sub-district will later change their identity cards (KTP) to Nusantara City, the capital of Indonesia.
"The population administration will change to the Nusantara City ID Card, no longer the ID Card for Sepaku Sub-district, North Penajam Paser District, with the presence of the Indonesian capital city," he remarked.

According to Susantono, it is easier for residents holding the Nusantara City ID Card to get job opportunities in the future capital of Indonesia.
Moreover, the residents will receive the requisite training, mentoring, and coaching as well as interactive training through workshops held by OIKN.
"Residents with the Nusantara City ID Card are being encouraged to understand digital regarding digital literacy which is in line with the vision of Indonesia's new capital city as a smart city,” Susantono remarked.
“People, who are placed as residents of the country's capital city, must be able to feel better and more advanced," he affirmed.
