In a release from her office on Thursday, Rismaharini was appointed to become the opening speaker on the second day of the infrastructure forum themed "Critical Infrastructure Resilience."
According to her speech, the ministry has prepared a social granary system, with 613 granaries in 29 provinces.
Moreover, her ministry had prepared buffer stock spread across 328 cities and districts in Indonesia to assist with logistics during disaster and post-disaster handling.
On Wednesday (April 10), the minister highlighted that the stock comprised food, clothing, tents, drinking water system, public kitchens, and hygiene facilities, such as washing machines, solar energy electricity, and portable toilets. These logistics will be used to assist residents in their day-to-day lives.
The ministry then prepared trauma healing, temporary places of worship, and emergency schools, she remarked.

In terms of post-disaster management, Rismaharini said her ministry assists with earthquake-resistant houses and business training to help members of the community restore their lives.
In terms of handling the disaster impacts, the Ministry of Social Affairs has gathered 25,008 Disaster Preparedness Volunteers (Tagana) personnel assisted by 49,916 social assistants connected in a digital command center system.
Integration with the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) was also established to mobilize resources, such as giving orders from directorates in the Ministry of Social Affairs and 37 technical implementing units, to Tagana and social companions, as well as enabling each human resource to provide reports quickly in around 10 minutes.
OECD moderator Elsa Pilichowski believes OECD countries must learn from one another, including Indonesia's efforts in disaster handling to becoming a pilot study.
She also lauded efforts made by the Ministry of Social Affairs in handling disasters in Indonesia.
"Disaster mitigation is very challenging. The efforts made are very impressive, such as the command center and others," she remarked.
