"(He) is still in Jakarta. Today, the president's plan is to work as usual at the palace," Yusuf Permana, the secretariat's Deputy for Protocol, Press, and Media, stated via a short message received in Jakarta on Friday.
Permana remarked that the head of state, who was born in Solo, Central Java, on June 21, 1961, has no plans of holding any event to celebrate his birthday.
"There will be no birthday party. Mr. President has never held such an event," Permana pointed out.
Based on ANTARA's observation, several ministers of the Onward Indonesia Cabinet have sent their best wishes to President Jokowi via social media platform Instagram.

Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto, who will succeed President Jokowi during the next presidential period, posted several pictures of him and the president on his Instagram account, @prabowo.
"May God always protect you and bless health and strength upon you, enabling you to carry out your devotion to the state and the people. Happy birthday, Mr. President @jokowi," he wrote in the post's caption.
Minister of State-owned Enterprises Erick Thohir also congratulated Jokowi by uploading a picture depicting him and the head of state at the State Palace on his Instagram account, @erickthohir.
"Happy birthday to you, Mr. President Jokowi. May God always give you strength and health to lead this nation. Thank you for your devotion and love to Indonesia," he noted.
It is unknown when the meeting took place at the palace. However, in the post, Thohir stated that he met with the president to brief him on the results of his three-day visit to the United Arab Emirates.
