The launches in the seven districts signify that all the eleven regions (of Jambi) are now offering e-certification services.Jambi (ANTARA) - Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), has inaugurated land electronic certification services in seven districts of Jambi province.
The services are now available at agrarian affairs offices in the districts of Batanghari, West Tanjung Jabung, East Tanjung Jabung, Sarolangun, Merangin, Kerinci, and Tebo.
"Electronic certificates are important not because we are merely keeping up with trends. We are transitioning from conventional platforms to digital ones in the hopes of providing security (legal certainty) to land owners," he informed in Jambi city, Jambi, on Tuesday.
Earlier, similar services were launched in four other regions of Jambi, namely Jambi city, Sungai Penuh city, Bungo district, and Muaro Jambi district.
With the launch of the services in the seven districts, Jambi has become the ninth province in Indonesia to offer land e-certification services to residents in all its regions.
The other eight provinces are Bali, Banten, Jakarta, Yogyakarta Special Region, Riau Islands, South Sumatra, East Kalimantan, and Gorontalo.
"The launches in the seven districts signify that all the eleven regions (of Jambi) are now offering e-certification services," AHY said.
Nationally, the seven districts of Jambi have joined the 131 districts and cities that have launched the services.
At the launch, AHY also lauded all people and stakeholders, including the residents of Jambi province, for taking part in efforts to support the central government's National Agrarian Reform program.
"I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all stakeholders, both in the central and regional governments, Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning Ministry, and people of Jambi for supporting the agrarian reform," the minister said.
