"The development of infrastructures constitutes one of the vital means to achieve the Golden Indonesia 2045 vision. The availability of infrastructures is believed to be instrumental in stimulating economic growth and actualizing equitable development," he affirmed.
In the company of Public Works and Public Housing Minister Basuki Hadimuljono, Amin emphasized that the Indonesian government should always place infrastructure development on its list of prioritized projects.
"In this context, it is necessary to equally pay attention to the development of residential areas rather than focusing solely on the construction of toll roads, airports, ports, and dams," he affirmed
The vice president highlighted the need to create tidy, high-quality, and sustainable residential zones to improve the living conditions of Indonesian people.
To that end, he said the government is committed to pursuing the development of environment-friendly infrastructures, such as green open public spaces, in various urban regions across the country.
"We can see the testament of this commitment in the city of Solo. Thanks to God, the revitalized Balekambang Park is now ready to welcome visitors," he remarked.
Amin expressed hope that the park, covering an area of 12.8 hectares, would not only serve as a green open space but also offer people a place for educational and cultural activities.
"The Balekambang Park is expected to play an important role in preserving the environment and emerge as a new tourism destination that can attract domestic and foreign visitors," he remarked.
On the occasion, he also urged the governments of Solo and Central Java and residents to work hand in hand to ensure the aesthetic appeal and sustainability of the park.
