Jakarta (ANTARA) - The construction of the national team training center in Nusantara, Indonesia's new capital city, has reached 99 percent completion, according to the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI).

In a statement on Friday, the PSSI said that the FIFA-supported training center has two fields and two dorm buildings.

Supporting infrastructure, encompassing dorms, a multi-sport field, parking, and surrounding roads, is 50 percent complete.

The association is targeting to have eight football fields at the training center by 2026.

PSSI chairperson Erick Thohir previously said that two fields, one with natural grass and one with synthetic grass, have been built at the center.

Its dorms, which can accommodate 138 people, have been equipped with physiotherapy, fitness center, and medical treatment facilities.
