"During this visit I came to the conclusion that Indonesia's stance is a consistent stance in its support for the Palestinian struggle and issues," Mahmoud Al-Habbash stated at the Parliament Complex in Senayan, Jakarta, Friday.
Al-Habbash conveyed this after he and other Palestinian delegates, accompanied by several administrators of the Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU), met with Chairman of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) Bambang Soesatyo.
"Once again, I say that Indonesia's stance is a consistent stance, and what we heard earlier from the Chairman of the MPR further confirms and convinces us of Indonesia's consistent and unchanging stance," he remarked.

He said that Indonesia's consistency in supporting the Palestinian struggle for independence was shown not only by the government but also by its people.
"This further adds to our impression that Indonesia has not changed regarding its support at various levels, both from its government, parliament, or society," he noted.
He also believes that Indonesia will continue to consistently support Palestine until independence is achieved.
"I believe that Indonesia's support for the Palestinian struggle and independence will continue until later, for the various efforts made by the Palestinian people, who stand on justice to gain their independence," he affirmed.
