"We need foreign direct investment to accelerate the development process, including the infrastructure development. Therefore, we, the ATR Ministry, must fully support the legal certainty of the land," he said here on Sunday.
He noted that to accelerate the realization of foreign investment in Nusantara, his ministry had mapped out various areas in the new capital city, including information regarding the topography, the geographical and demographic conditions, and the condition of surrounding communities.
The area mapping is deemed able to help the Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN) to get as much investment as possible.
Apart from that, AHY also emphasized that his ministry continues to prioritize a humanistic approach in every resolution of land issues in the new capital as synergizing
efforts to improve the economy and environmental sustainability as well as community improvement is necessary.
He said earlier that the government is still making utmost efforts to complete the acquisition of 2,086 hectares of land in Nusantara.
