Jakarta (ANTARA) - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) stated that in the 2025 Draft State Budget (RAPBN), the 2025 state revenue is planned to reach Rp2,996.9 trillion (around US$190.92 billion).

The president conveyed this in his speech on the RAPBN for the 2025 fiscal year and financial notes at the plenary meeting of the House of Representatives (DPR) for the 2024–2025 sitting period at the Parliamentary Complex, Jakarta, on Friday.

Jokowi explained that the planned state revenue comprised tax revenue of Rp2,490.9 trillion (around US$158.69 billion) and non-tax revenue of Rp505.4 trillion (around US$32.19 billion).

According to the president, the state revenue in the 2025 RAPBN was planned while maintaining the investment climate, environmental sustainability, and accessibility of public services.

Furthermore, he underlined that the government continues to implement tax reforms through the expansion of tax bases, enhancement of taxpayers' compliance, improvement of governance and tax administration, as well as directed and measured granting of tax incentives.

"Efforts to increase non-tax revenue continue to be made through the utilization of technology for planning and reporting, strengthening governance and supervision, the optimization of state asset and natural resource management, as well as encouraging service innovation," he expounded.
