Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk's (stock code: WSBP) commitment in implementing occupational safety and health (OHS) and mitigating risks was rewarded at the Indonesia Safety Excellence Awards 2024 held on Friday, August 23, 2024 evening.


At this prestigious event, WSBP won four stars in three categories at once, namely The Best OSH Implementation Company, The Best HSE Department, and The Best Safety Management in BUMN Company. In addition, WSBP's VP of HSE, Irvan Panjaitan, also won an award in the category of The Best Leadership on OSH Culture.

This award was successfully achieved after going through a series of assessments covering various key indicators ranging from OSH Performance, Risk Management & Emergency Response, Digital Transformation in OHS Implementation, Safety in Environment, Social, Governance (ESG), Process Safety, OSH Innovations, and Management Commitment on OSH.




In this event WSBP demonstrated its commitment to prevent occupational accidents and occupational diseases consistently in the implementation of the OHS management system by referring to the ISO: 45001 and SMK3 standards. This commitment can be seen from the fulfillment of OHS legislation and regulations in all business processes, which is supported by the established OHS programs.




WSBP's HSE programs are tailored to the company's strategic needs and support government programs. These programs include HSE people development program, HSE Operational Excellence, and various other programs aimed at creating a safe working environment and reducing the level of work accidents. These excellent programs include Hazard Identification, Occupational Disease Identification, Incidental Inspection, Management System Verification, Capa Monitoring, work environment measurement, emergency response system management, Occupational Disease counseling, Fit To Work Inspection, and other programs that support the improvement of HSE program indicators.
