"Mr. President has called on his ministers to prepare main points that will be conveyed to the public," Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung remarked after the ultimate cabinet plenary meeting held at the Garuda Palace, Nusantara Capital City, East Kalimantan.
He further elaborated on Jokowi's directives, saying that the head of state demanded that his aides spotlight all success stories made by the government, both during the Jokowi-Jusuf Kalla and Jokowi-Ma'ruf Amin administrations.
"The president also ordered a blueprint for power transition from his administration to the incoming government to be led by Mr. Prabowo Subianto to be prepared," Anung remarked.
According to the secretary, in principle, the government had prepared and agreed on crucial things that would be conveyed to the nation.
"This way, we can expect to succeed in disseminating all achievements made by the government to a broad population within the remaining one month," he stated.
Anung further noted that the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs, Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture, and Coordinating Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Investment would collaborate to follow up on what has been decided during the plenary meeting.
He then underlined that the meeting also highlighted several priority matters that need to be pursued, including the construction of national strategic projects and measures for ensuring that the current economic growth of above five percent remains after the power transition.
Furthermore, he remarked that President-elect and Defense Minister Prabowo made the most of the final meeting to bring various current strategic issues under the spotlight.
