Jakarta (ANTARA) - President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated 48 ministers of the Red and White Cabinet for the 2024-2029 period at the State Palace, Jakarta, on Monday.

The inauguration was carried out based on Presidential Decree Number 133/P of 2024 on the Formation of State Ministries and Appointment of State Ministries of the Red and White Cabinet for the 2024-2029 period.

The event started with the singing of the national anthem Indonesia Raya, followed by the reading of the presidential decree along with a list of the names of those inaugurated as ministers and their positions.

In addition to ministers, President Prabowo inaugurated other officials at Monday's event, namely the Attorney General, Chief of the Presidential Staff, Deputy Chief of the Presidential Staff, Head of the Presidential Communication Office, Chief of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), and Chair of the National Economic Council.

On that occasion, the ministers and officials took the oath of office, guided by the president.

"I pledge that I will be loyal to the 1945 Constitution and carry out all applicable laws for the sake of my devotion and service to the nation and country," he said, followed by the ministers and officials.

The ministers then signed the letter of appointment one by one in front of President Prabowo.
