Magelang, Central Java (ANTARA) - President Prabowo Subianto and the ranks of Red and White Cabinet ministers are spending Thursday night at the Military Academy (Akmil) in Tidar Valley, Magelang, ahead of a retreat agenda on Friday.

This was conveyed by deputy for protocol, press, and media at the Presidential Secretariat, Yusuf Permana, in a statement released on Thursday.

"President Prabowo and his ranks of the Red and White Cabinet are spending the night at the Military Academy to continue the retreat activities tomorrow," he informed.

President Prabowo arrived at the Akmil complex around 5:56 p.m. local time. His arrival was greeted with great respect.

During the welcoming ceremony, he walked down an honorary line of TNI (Indonesian Defense Forces) soldiers, accompanied by a marching band of Military Academy cadets.

Afterward, the President went to the Borobudur International Golf Club, located within the Military Academy premises, on a golf cart.

"On Friday, President Prabowo is scheduled to open the Red and White Cabinet Retreat. Ministers under the Cabinet will also receive briefings on several materials," Permana said.

The retreat is one of the important agendas for the ministers and is expected to strengthen collaboration and coordination between the ministries under Prabowo's administration.

Earlier, a plane carrying President Prabowo from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, landed at Adi Sutjipto Air Force Base, Yogyakarta, around 4:05 p.m. local time.

After landing, Prabowo was welcomed by Governor of the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono X; Commander IV of the Diponegoro Military Command, Major General Deddy Suryadi; and chief of police of the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Police Inspector General Suwondo Nainggolan.
