Magelang, Central Java (ANTARA) - President Prabowo Subianto has voiced his opposition to any exaggerated reverence or attempts to build a cult of personality around him, according to Deputy Minister of Manpower Immanuel Ebenezer.

Ebenezer, attending the Red and White Cabinet retreat at the Military Academy in Magelang, Central Java, said that Prabowo emphasized the importance of loyalty to values and principles over personal adulation.

"As a leader, he speaks about values and dislikes being revered in a cult-like manner," Ebenezer said, adding that Prabowo also discouraged any "feudal" practices among the cabinet members.

Ebenezer noted that, although the retreat was structured like rigorous military training, moments of humor helped keep participants in high spirits.

On the retreat's second day, Friday, ministers, deputy ministers, agency heads, special envoys, advisors, and staff assembled on the academy's Saptamarga Field at 5:15 a.m. for a 30-minute sports session, followed by marching exercises.

Cabinet members, divided into five groups and assigned three marching trainers each, participated in the exercises wearing reserve component field uniforms.

The day's schedule also included briefing sessions on government and state administration, culminating in an afternoon roll call and dinner.

President Prabowo and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka took part in the exercises alongside Cabinet members.
