Deputy Minister of PANRB Purwadi Arianto stated in Jakarta on Monday that the PANRB Ministry is designing and preparing a plan to move ASN to IKN.
“We will still design ASN for the shift. Later, we will design in general so that when they have to leave, where they are recruited from, we will prepare it,” he explained.
Arianto noted that potential incentives for civil servants to relocate to the new capital (IKN) are currently being considered to create an appealing motivation for their relocation.
"We are discussing it. Hopefully, it will make it easier for them to be attracted to go there (IKN)," Arianto remarked.
He also added that the plan to move ASN to IKN was carried out in stages.

Meanwhile, Minister of Public Works (PU) Dody Hanggodo revealed that President Prabowo Subianto targets working in IKN on August 17, 2028.
Although the main focus is currently on accelerating food self-sufficiency, the government will continue the development of IKN.
Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) revealed that the development of IKN will continue, prioritizing the completion of the center of government.
AHY said that the decision was a follow-up to the president's direction, which emphasized the importance of completing the center of government as a priority in developing IKN.
He also said that President Prabowo had stated that the development of IKN would continue, focusing on developing the government center, including the executive, legislative, and judicial facilities.
