Solo (ANTARA) - Creative Economy Minister Teuku Riefky Harsya is preparing chefs in several regions to support President Prabowo Subianto's Free Nutritious Meals program.

The Ministry of Creative Economy is collaborating with local governments and the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) to provide training for chefs. One such training session was organized at SMK Negeri 4 Surakarta in Central Java on Thursday.

"This training is to support the nutritious meal program, and it was held simultaneously in four cities," Harsya informed.

The minister said he hopes that the training can increase the capacity of chefs participating in the program.

"We are also coordinating with the National Nutrition Agency because the program will start at the end of the year. In the first stage, it will cover three thousand locations," he added.

According to the minister, the training also includes information on how to allocate a budget of Rp10 thousand per portion.

"The budget comes from the National Nutrition Agency. We only help in the training and collaborate with the local government," he informed.

Regarding the number of chefs needed, he said did not know the exact number.

"These chefs come from all elements. So, when the National Nutrition Agency needs chefs, we prepare it," he added.
