"The four clusters are, among others, the first cluster, grand design for creative economy development; the second cluster, new ministry internal consolidation," he informed in a statement issued by the ministry here on Saturday.
He said that the third cluster comprises programs aimed at job creation and capacity improvement for creative economy players, and the fourth cluster concerns the development of the creative economy as a new engine of growth.
The ministry will carry out creative economy development through a number of programs in the first cluster, namely regulation improvement, synchronization between agencies and ministries, and collaboration between agencies, ministries, and industries.
"We are fully committed to utilizing data as the basis for policymaking. Thus, the role of agencies like Statistics Indonesia (BPS) and the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) is crucial in supporting the formulation of creative economy policies," he said.
The ministry's second cluster of programs are related to bureaucratic reforms, human resources capacity development, and the strengthening of the Ministry of Creative Economy's identity.
The programs will be initiated to help people understand the role of the ministry in public services.
The ministry has prepared third cluster programs to create jobs and improve the capacity of creative economy players, including programs to bolster all value chains of the creative economy, from creation to consumption.
The ministry will develop the creative economy as the new engine of growth through programs in the fourth cluster, which comprise protecting and commercializing intellectual property, improving the welfare of creative economy players, and enhancing creative economy competitiveness.
"These are aimed at opening many jobs, increasing the competitiveness of local creative products, and making regions the centers of creative economy in various provinces," he said.
