"We will work hand in hand to map the actual conditions in the field, with a special focus on resolving problems related to women and children," PPPA Minister Arifah Fauzi remarked in Jakarta on Monday.
Fauzi made the statement after a meeting with Social Affairs Minister Saifullah Yusuf at his office.
Addressing the media, Fauzi emphasized the importance of fostering synergy and collaboration among ministries and other state institutions to overcome issues concerning women and children.
"We, at the Ministry of PPPA, are building synergy, collaboration, and cooperation with the Ministry of Social Affairs since these two institutions share similar programs and initiatives," she stated.
Minister Yusuf, for his part, told reporters that during the meeting, the two ministerial delegations discussed the work mechanism of the newly established team.
"We have agreed on a working mechanism for our newly formed team, which will work for about a month," he stated.

The next plan is for the PPPA Ministry and Social Affairs Ministry to sign a memorandum of understanding to further deepen their cooperation in overcoming social issues associated with women and children.
Earlier, on January 2, PPPA Minister Fauzi visited Minister of Primary and Secondary Education Abdul Mu'ti to have an audience with a similar agenda.
On that occasion, the minister highlighted her office's "Dare to Speak Up" campaign, which encourages children to courageously report acts of violence in their surroundings.
"Since the 'Dare to Speak Up' campaign has yet to be massively introduced, we decided to collaborate with stakeholders, including the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education," she remarked.
