"We want to collaborate and synergize with various stakeholders, especially to support Indonesia's commitment to achieving net zero emissions by 2060 or sooner," he said at the opening of the Indonesia Pavilion at the annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland, on Tuesday.
At the event, which was followed online on the official channel of the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming, Roeslani also introduced Indonesian coffee and culinary specialties to stakeholders.
In addition, he conveyed President Prabowo Subianto's wish to make Indonesia more active in international events and make its presence felt on the global stage.
The minister said that participation in the WEF Annual Meeting, which is taking place from January 20–24, 2025, is an effort to strengthen Indonesia's image in terms of sustainable investment.
He further said that at the event, he will hold meetings with several global investors and ministerial-level officials from other countries.
According to Roeslani, the event is also a big opportunity to promote Indonesia's investment potential to investors.
To this end, he affirmed that his side will make the most of the time to meet many potential investors who share the same vision as Indonesia on advancing sustainable investment.
