“We are very proud of this achievement. With the achievement of NKB of IDR2.37 trillion, WSBP has not only successfully achieved the annual target, but also shows that our business strategy is successful in facing various market challenges in 2024. This is a strong testament to our
commitment to provide the best solutions for our customers and partners,” said Fandy Dewanto, VP of Corporate Secretary WSBP.
The increase in NKB was achieved through sales of WSBP's three main business lines that performed well, namely Readymix Products, Precast, and Construction Instalations. The Readymix business line contributed the largest NKB with Rp913.17 billion, followed by Precast Concrete with Rp881.09 billion, and Construction Instalations with Rp574.50 billion.
This achievement was achieved through various large projects that contributed significantly to the achievement of WSBP's NKB in 2024. Among them are the construction of the Ciawi-Sukabumi Toll Road Section 3B worth Rp187 billion, Jakarta LRT Phase 1B Velodrome-Manggarai with a contract value of Rp68,2 billion. There is also the construction of the Universitas Persatuan Islam (UNIPI) Building project worth Rp105.5 billion, the Enim I-II Bridge Retaining Wall construction project in South Sumatra worth Rp71.8 billion, and various other projects spread throughout Indonesia.
Not only obtaining NKB from the supply of Readymix and Precast products, and working on construction projects, WSBP also optimizes the company's assets by leasing equipment. WSBP utilizes equipment assets such as truck mixers, batching plants, wheel loaders, generators, and excavators including idle equipment, to increase productivity and revenue. WSBP achieved NKB of Rp14.99 billion from this business line.
During this period, the composition of the projects obtained mostly came from external customers (Government, BUMN/BUMD and other Private Companies) at 67.76% and complemented by internal acquisition (PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk) at 32.24%. The composition of WSBP's project acquisition in 2024, the majority of which came from external customers, reflects WSBP's ability to expand market share and maintain competitiveness in the external market.
In 2025 WSBP is ready to support various development programs in accordance with the direction of government policy including the 3 million houses program. As part of the innovation, WSBP has prepared Precast House solution with modular system, namely Precast Beam/Brikon and Load Bearing Wall System. This system offers high efficiency, construction time savings, and guaranteed structural strength. The Precast House is expected to accelerate the national housing development program.
WSBP continues to focus on expanding market share with a target of 10-15% increase through product and service innovation based on market needs (market fit). One of the strategic steps taken is to support the government's infrastructure program by targeting up to 20% of NKB for the housing sector, dams, irrigation, and other priority infrastructure.
“With our portfolio, ranging from Savasa housing projects to coastal safety, we are confident that we can continue to meet the needs of an increasingly dynamic market. We are optimistic that we can continue to contribute to the development of strategic infrastructure in Indonesia,” Fandy concluded.
With this significant achievement, WSBP is increasingly optimistic to face the challenges of 2025 and continues to focus on strengthening its core business, innovation, and strategic collaboration with partners to support sustainable growth. In its implementation, WSBP will continue to emphasize the principles of Good Corporate Governance, risk management, and sustainable development.
