Purwokerto, Central Java (ANTARA) - Social Affairs Minister Syaifullah Yusuf announced that the National Single Socioeconomic Data (DTSEN) will soon be implemented to ensure government social assistance reaches the right beneficiaries.

"Following the president's directive, we must work together to effectively eliminate poverty and achieve significant progress," he stated after attending the Social Pillars Dialogue on Saturday.

He underscored the importance of effective planning to ensure various government interventions are accurately targeted, beginning with updated and unified data through DTSEN.

This initiative aims to make poverty alleviation a shared responsibility among ministries, agencies, and local governments.

"If DTSEN is completed soon, we will use the latest data in the first quarter. If some individuals have not received assistance, they need to be patient while their situation is reassessed," he explained.

He added that families in need who are not currently included in DTSEN can apply through two channels.

The first is via neighborhood chiefs and local authorities, while the second option is through the Cek Bansos application.

He encouraged the public to participate in reviewing and verifying social assistance recipient data.

Discussing the Family Hope Program (PKH), which aims to reduce poverty, he noted that while efforts have been made to empower beneficiaries to eventually become self-sufficient, there are currently no specific graduation targets.

"This indicates a lack of a solid legacy. Moving forward, we want to establish measurable targets for the funds disbursed. Every government expenditure must consider outcomes, outputs, and benefits," he emphasized.

Additionally, he stressed the need for social workers to collaborate with local governments, as coordination has been insufficient and data collection has often been fragmented.
