In its statement received in Jakarta, the Vice Presidential Secretariat noted that Gibran first visited the Public Junior High School (SMPN) 11 of Depok, where he observed students enjoying the meal packages served, containing rice, katsu chicken, Chinese cabbage, oranges, and milk.
"We have witnessed that the pupils have a good appetite for today's menu, and we are always receptive to any feedback. A team from the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) has been put on standby here," Gibran remarked.
Furthermore, the vice president proceeded to the Public Senior High School (SMAN) 4 of Depok, where pupils received nutritious meal packages comprising rice, string beans, teriyaki chicken, oranges, and milk.
He pointed out that the government's priority program has been running smoothly, with the beneficiary students positively responding.

The former mayor of Solo assessed that the meals offered meet the nutritional standards set by the BGN.
In addition to inspecting the program's implementation, Gibran also made the most of his visits to converse with pupils and distribute packages of notebooks to them.
Headmaster of SMPN 11 of Depok Purnomo Dono Ismawan remarked that the Free Nutritious Meals program has been running since January 6, 2025, in the school, catering to the nutritional needs of 1,638 pupils.
He highlighted that meals served under the program had proven beneficial to the health of his students.
"Moreover, the waste generated by the program has been recycled into livestock feeds and fertilizers," he added.
