They included Brian Yuliarto, who has been selected to replace Satryo Soemantri Brodjonegoro as the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology.
"I was asked to attend. The Cabinet Secretary informed me," Yuliarto said when asked about the reason for his visit to the Jakarta Presidential Palace.
Other new appointees who visited the palace included Lt. Gen. (retd.) Nugroho Sulistyo Budi, who will replace Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Hinsa Siburian as head of the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN).
They further comprised Pratama Dahlian Persadha, who will replace Rachmat Wibowo as the deputy head of BSSN, and Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti, who will be inaugurated as the definitive head of Statistics Indonesia (BPS).

Mohammad Syafii, chosen to lead the National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas), was also present at the inauguration, along with Muhammad Yusuf Ateh, selected as the definitive head of the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP), and Agustina Arumsari, chosen as the new deputy head of BPKP.
The figures arrived at the Jakarta Presidential Palace around 2:30 p.m. local time on Wednesday, accompanied by their spouses and children.
For the inauguration, male officials wore white shirts with black suits and pants along with kopiah caps, while women officials were dressed in batik clothing.
They were scheduled to be inaugurated by President Prabowo in an official ceremony at the State Palace, Jakarta, at 3:30 p.m. local time.
Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment, Muhaimin Iskandar; Minister of Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers, Abdul Kadir Karding, and Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture, Pratikno, also joined the inauguration event.
