The message was delivered before the Ministry of Religious Affairs' isbat (confirmation with argument and evidence) session to determine the start and end dates of Ramadan.
Muslims are expected to adhere to this decision as a guide for initiating their fast.
“I would like to wish all Muslims who carry out the Ramadan fasting well, and I also seek forgiveness for any wrongdoings, outward and inward,” Prabowo stated here on Friday.
The president hopes that Muslims will observe this holy month to increase their worship and get closer to Allah.
He also invited the entire community to maintain calm and solemnity in carrying out the fasting.
"May Allah accept our good deeds. Once again, for those who are fasting, happy fasting, and let us observe this month of Ramadan well, calmly, and solemnly," he noted.
President Prabowo has also instructed the ministries to maintain the stability of staple food prices and ensure their availability during the holy month of Ramadan.
