During a meeting with AIIB president Jin Liqun in Jakarta on Tuesday, Indrawati outlined President Prabowo's vision and missions.
"We have agreed to continue collaboration in priority sectors, such as food security, energy security, and natural resource management," she said.
According to the minister, the vision and missions of President Prabowo are reflected in the current direction of Indonesia's development.
The minister expressed appreciation for the AIIB's support for Indonesia, especially in social development.
"Hopefully, we can unlock wider collaboration potential and increase good cooperation," Indrawati said.
Public Works Minister Dody Hanggodo also attended the meeting with the AIIB president.
At the meeting, Hanggodo emphasized the importance of expanding the coverage of AIIB investment to reach areas with high disaster risk.
This is deemed essential to improve funding readiness for dealing with emergencies or natural disasters so that the government's mitigation and post-disaster recovery response can be faster and more effective.
The minister thanked the AIIB for its long-standing partnership that has had a positive impact on infrastructure development in Indonesia.
He noted that the AIIB's involvement as a multilateral development bank is expected to be based on mutual benefit and mutual responsibility.
"This approach is expected to be able to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of the use of foreign loans for strategic infrastructure projects," he said.
One of the projects that are currently being carried out with the support of the AIIB is the Strategic Irrigation Modernization and Urgent Rehabilitation Project (SIMURP).
