Head of the ministry's Data and Information Technology Center Yudhistira Nugraha explained that one of the forms of technology intervention is the Rumah Pendidikan application, which supports the education of students and partners.
"This platform covers various aspects, such as access to learning for students, teachers' competency improvement, support for schools in managing resources, and the involvement of parents and partners in the education ecosystem," he said here on Wednesday.
He delivered the remarks during a meeting with Commission X of the House of Representatives (DPR) and the Ministry of National Development Planning.
According to Nugraha, the application has integrated spaces, such as a teacher space, student space, school space, government space, partner space, public space, and language space.
He further explained that through those spaces, both students and partners can access learning activities, evaluation of reference sources, and counseling services that aim to improve educational services.
As for the 3T areas, the ministry is currently developing a student space that can be accessed offline so that schools with limited Internet access can still get learning content.
With the solution, he expressed the hope that the ministry can ensure that limitations in digital infrastructure will not hinder students in 3T areas from getting a quality education.
