"In collaboration with cellular operators, we have raised approximately 1,500 personnel. A total of 29 vehicles have also been deployed to monitor frequencies and handle complaint reports," Komdigi Minister Meutya Hafid remarked at her office in Jakarta on Tuesday.
To avoid disruptions in telecommunication networks during the holiday period, Hafid remarked that 386 posts have been established, 30 of which are operated directly by the Komdigi Ministry, while the rest are managed by various cellular operators.
These posts will be functional from March 26 to April 8, 2025.
In addition, the ministry and cellular operators have jointly set up several integrated strategic posts at Soekarno-Hatta Airport in Tangerang, Banten; Merak Port in Cilegon, Banten; Gambir Station in Jakarta; Semarang Tawang Station in Semarang, Central Java; and two rest areas along toll roads.
The minister explained that the deployed vehicles are designed to help monitor the quality of communication services and networks along Eid homecoming routes.
Moreover, Hafid highlighted that her ministry had also established a telecommunication monitoring and control center on the eighth floor of its headquarters in Jakarta.
The minister emphasized that all these preparatory measures align with the directives issued by President Prabowo Subianto to his aides to ensure smooth celebrations for the forthcoming Eid al-Fitr and Nyepi Day.
"We are truly determined to oversee the entire process until the final day of the Eid holiday period," she affirmed.
