Jakarta (ANTARA) - Culture Minister Fadli Zon. reopened the Dana Indonesiana Cultural Endowment Fund program for the 2025–2026 period to advance cultural development.

“We are pleased to announce that the Dana Indonesiana Fund is now open with a new, more inclusive scheme,” Zon said here on Monday.

With an allocation of Rp465 billion, or around US$28.2 million, for the period from the total Rp5 trillion, or around US$303.8 million, of the permanent fund, the program aims to cover a wide range of recipients, including individuals, community organizations, and activists in the fields of traditional and contemporary culture.

“We are not limiting it to specific arts or cultural expressions, although there are also some funds specifically allocated for certain areas,” he added.

Minister Zon explained that the Dana Indonesiana Fund program will be implemented transparently and in partnership with the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education Agency.

The fund is expected to stimulate public-private partnerships in the cultural sector, he added.

He informed that to ensure that the program reaches a wide target audience across Indonesia, the ministry will utilize cultural preservation centers spread across 23 provinces to promote the fund and educate the public about it, besides using social media platforms.

The types of services under the funding program will include facilitation for cultural communities and practitioners, cultural event production, media production, and other programs that have actively engaged in cultural activities over the past two years.

Individuals, groups, or institutions interested in applying for the program can register through the official website danaindonesiana.kemenbud.go.id.
