Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises is continually strengthening connectivity between MSMEs and large industries through an MSME holding scheme or supply chain partnerships.

This was conveyed by the ministry's Deputy for Business, Bagus Rachman, at the Diplomat Success Challenge (DSC) event in Jakarta on Friday.

He noted that Indonesian MSMEs still face several challenges, such as limited access to capital, suboptimal human resources, weak promotion, and insufficient infrastructure support.

According to Rachman, the supply chain partnership scheme is expected to improve MSMEs' economic scale, business management capacity, product market reach, and financing access.

He also emphasized that government synergy and collaboration are crucial for building a resilient entrepreneurial ecosystem.

"The government plays the role of preparing regulations, building infrastructure, and supporting through policies, while the private sector focuses on carrying out innovation, investment, and technology development," he remarked.

Rachman also expressed appreciation for the commitment of various supporting parties, including the Wismilak Foundation, in advancing Indonesian MSME entrepreneurs through the DSC program.

"DSC serves as a platform to connect creative talents with business opportunities and supports collaboration and innovation in tourism," he remarked.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the DSC Board of Commissioners, Surjanto Yasaputera, stated that DSC's collaboration with several external parties is an initiative to address the economic challenges Indonesia is currently facing.

He affirmed that DSC is committed to facilitating collaboration and making a positive impact on the domestic economic and business sectors.

He further noted that the diversity of Indonesia's current economic challenges makes the spirit of collaboration a foundation for creating innovative solutions in the future.
