Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Indonesia Pavilion at World Expo 2025 Osaka, Japan, has marked a significant milestone by welcoming its one-millionth visitor, underscoring the interest of global partners in Indonesia’s potential and commitment to harmony.

In a statement released here on Monday, deputy director of the Indonesia Pavilion, Ahmad Dading Gunadi, said that the milestone is not just a number, but reflects the appreciation Indonesia has garnered from the international audience at the expo, which opened on April 13, 2025.

“It (the one million visits) symbolizes the trust and appreciation the global community has for the values we represent through the Indonesia Pavilion — harmony, innovation, and collaboration,” he added.

The Indonesia Pavilion is showcasing the nation’s dedication to ensuring sustainable growth, preserving its rich cultural heritage, as well as progressing toward an inclusive and innovative future under the theme “Thriving in Harmony: Nature, Culture, Future.”

“We are incredibly grateful for the warm reception from all our visitors. We are committed to continuing to provide the best possible experience and showcasing Indonesia’s boundless potential to visitors until the conclusion of World Expo 2025 Osaka,” Gunadi said.

Throughout the expo, the Indonesia Pavilion will host programs such as business forums, exhibitions of products made by micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), as well as cultural performances.

The expo is also a strategic platform to introduce Indonesia’s significant potential in trade, tourism, and investment to global audiences.

So far, the pavilion has held 26 business forums and one-on-one meetings that have generated investment commitments worth US$23.8 billion (approximately Rp392.2 trillion).

With the World Expo 2025 Osaka continuing until October 2025, the Indonesia Pavilion is committed to unveiling further innovations, visitor-friendly services, and diverse thematic programs to provide a meaningful experience to visitors.
