“The IKRA Indonesia program is designed to empower sharia-based businesses in the halal food and fashion sectors, with a primary focus on end-to-end, community-based development,” Listyowati remarked in Bandarlampung on Monday.
She explained that the program aims to develop high-quality halal business players and products that are competitive in both domestic and global halal markets.
“This initiative is also expected to contribute significantly to national economic growth,” she remarked.
The program starts with the selection of IKRA members through a process of curation and clustering.
It is followed by offline mentoring sessions focused on strengthening capacity and quality in areas such as branding, marketing, production, business planning, and management.
“In addition, online activities include data collection, information exchange, and virtual business matching between sharia businesses and potential buyers or investors,” she explained.
She noted that digital literacy and inclusion are further promoted through the ISEF Sharia Economic Festival and the Halal Industry Summit to increase the visibility of halal products in domestic markets.
“To reach the global halal market, activities such as the Indonesia International Halal Fair, Global Halal Hub, and Code Modest are organized. These are all aimed at building a strong sharia creative industry,” she concluded.
