Judha Nugraha, director for the protection of Indonesian citizens at the ministry, said in a written statement on Saturday that, as of June 28, the government had evacuated 79 people, including an Iranian national married to an Indonesian citizen.
The remaining 18 evacuees — out of a total of 97 — are still in Baku, Azerbaijan, and are scheduled to be repatriated in stages through June 29.
Five more individuals are expected to arrive in Jakarta on Sunday on two separate flights, while 13 others currently in Baku are scheduled to depart the same day.
Nugraha added that the ministry is closely coordinating with Indonesian embassies in transit countries to ensure a smooth and safe evacuation process.
