"Quality economic growth depends not only on the government's strength but also on the resilience of businesses," he stated during a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signing between his ministry and the Indonesian Business Council (IBC) in Jakarta on Monday, according to a statement.
The MoU outlines collaboration and policy innovation to support the planning and execution of national development programs.
This strategic partnership between the private and public sectors aims to support the implementation of the 2025-2029 National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) and strengthen national economic growth through increased productivity, innovation, and national competitiveness.
Furthermore, the MoU covers cooperation in various fields, including strengthening the economic and financial sectors, improving governance, developing human resources, advancing energy transition, and securing development financing.
"This MoU is part of a concrete step to accelerate economic growth and realize the Golden Indonesia 2045 vision," Pambudy remarked.
The IBC is also committed to encouraging the participation of the private sector in national priority initiatives, including the development of the electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem.
IBC Supervisory Board Chairperson, Arsjad Rasjid, stated that systematically involving the private sector is crucial to achieving the target of quality economic growth.
"To achieve Indonesia's economic growth target, the business sector is ready to work together with the Ministry of National Development Planning," he affirmed.
He further noted that the MoU serves as a foundation for strategic partnerships between the private and public sectors and bridges the aspirations of the business community to create a more favorable business climate and accelerate inclusive and sustainable growth.
