According to data from the Indonesian Sport Climbing Federation (FPTI), the first gold of the day was delivered by Alma Ariella Tsany in the youth women's lead category.
Tsany scored 50 points, defeating Thailand's Natcha Supavorased, who earned silver with a score of 37+. The bronze medal went to Singapore's Sofia Xiao Menghan, who also scored 37+ but lost on time.
The second gold medal was contributed by Nur Ismatul Sakdia in the women’s open boulder category.
Sakdia accumulated a total of 39.1 points, while Singapore’s Vanessa Ting Si Yin finished with 39.0 points. The bronze medal was secured by Puntarika Tunyavanich of Thailand with 19.9 points.
Indonesia’s third gold on Sunday came from Ardana Cikal Damarwulan, who once again topped the podium in the youth men's lead event. He gained a score of 27+, narrowly beating two climbers from Singapore, Mitchell Charles Boyer Hai Jie with points of 27 and Dylan Seow Yong Kang who gained 25+.
With these three additional gold medals, Indonesia finished the championship with a total of five golds, one silver, and one bronze.
The earlier gold medals were won by Mahesa Caesar in the men’s open lead and Ardana Cikal Damarwulan in the youth men's boulder category.
Alma Ariella Tsany had also contributed a silver in the youth women's boulder, while Nur Ismatul Sakdia earned bronze in the women’s open lead.
Secretary-General of the FPTI, Wahyu Pristiawan Buntoro, previously stated that the results in Malaysia serve as an important foundation ahead of the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand, as well as a long-term target of qualifying for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
The ASEAN Climbing Championship 2025 was part of an international trial program aimed at increasing experience and mental readiness for young athletes at the Southeast Asian level.
