"We are finalizing the process of shifting Hajj's human resources from the Ministry of Religious Affairs, at the central, regional, and local levels. Simultaneously, we are also preparing a more open recruitment scheme for functional and structural officials at BP Hajj, including involving interfaith human resources," he noted in Jakarta on Friday.
According to Simanjuntak, this reflects BP Haji's commitment to building an inclusive institution that embodies the values of nationalism, tolerance, and unity.

"As the sole authority for Hajj, BP Haji was established by the president not only to provide professional and integrated governance but also to symbolize the spirit of nationalism as the spirit of the founding pilgrims of the nation who brought home the spirit of nationalism, unity, and diversity from the Holy Land," he remarked.
He explained that BP Haji also upholds the principle of female representation in its recruitment process, guided by a commitment to inclusivity and proportionality.
He elaborated that the current BP Haji structure includes professionals from various ministries and institutions, such as the Finance Ministry, the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, the Attorney General's Office, the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), the Indonesian National Police (Polri), and in the future, the Health Ministry.
It demonstrates that BP Haji serves as a shared institution founded on integrity, professionalism, and dedication to the nation. BP Haji ensures that all restructuring processes are carried out in stages and in a measured manner to realize better, more professional, efficient, safe, and comfortable Hajj services.
