“This collaboration aims to simplify, ease, and reduce the cost of the halal certification process. Let us implement this cooperation effectively, so that the benefits can be directly felt by the public and business owners,” BPJPH Head Ahmad Haikal Hasan noted in a statement in Jakarta on Monday.
To strengthen halal product assurance (JPH), BPJPH signed cooperation agreements with the Human Resource Development and Training Center (Pusbangkom SDM) of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the Halal Center of Jenderal Soedirman University, Nusa Academy Training Center, the Halal Center of Muhammadiyah University Purwokerto, Garuda Emas Association, the MUI Professional Certification Body (LSP MUI), and the Ministry’s Religious Moderation and Human Resource Development Agency.
Haikal further explained that this collaboration also aims to promote socialization, training, and professional certification in the field of halal product assurance.
Meanwhile, Head of the Human Resource Development Agency of the Ministry of Religious Affairs M. Ali Ramdhani expressed full support for the national halal training program.

“We are committed to working closely together with strong religious values. We are ready to serve as a professional institution in implementing halal product assurance training,” Ali remarked.
Similarly, Elly Tugiyati, Head of the Halal Center at Jenderal Soedirman University, reaffirmed her institution’s commitment to actively contributing to halal certification programs.
“We are ready to support halal certification efforts in our surrounding communities more effectively,” she stated.
In addition, Nur Wahid, Director of the MUI Certification Body (LSP MUI), voiced his support for BPJPH’s strategic programs.
“We fully support the implementation of JPH competency certification and the One Village One Juleha program,” he remarked.
The term Juleha refers to Halal Slaughtering Professionals — individuals who have certified knowledge, skills, and competence in animal slaughtering according to Islamic law, as officially recognized by BPJPH.
Juleha professionals are not merely animal butchers but are also trained to understand the principles of halal slaughtering, including spiritual considerations and animal welfare.
