The minister directly reviewed the distribution of BSU in several cities across Indonesia, including at Padang Post Office in West Sumatra, alongside Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
Yassierli also expressed his appreciation for the Vice President’s presence in monitoring and evaluation activities, saying that it motivated all ranks of the Ministry of Manpower to ensure the program remains well-targeted.
“In West Sumatra, 174,203 workers (95.33 percent) have received BSU, and particularly in Padang, 60,008 workers (94.53 percent) got it,” he informed.
Meanwhile, the Vice President emphasized the importance of cooperation among relevant parties to expedite the implementation of the BSU program, considering the deadline for disbursement at the end of July.
“Because this is a program and also order from President (Prabowo Subianto), its implementation must be 100 percent,” he said.
Furthermore, Gibran also reminded everyone to use BSU wisely and not for negative purposes, especially online gambling (judol).
“The aid will be revoked if you use it for judol. Do not (use) BSU for judol,” he warned.
