Jakarta (ANTARA) - Minister of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection Arifah Fauzi praised the Bali Provincial Health Office for conducting Free Health Check-Up (CKG) for civil servants to improve public access to healthcare services.

“As mandated by President Prabowo Subianto, the people must live healthy lives and be protected from illness. If they do fall ill, they must have easy access to healthcare services,” Minister Fauzi noted here in a statement here on Monday.

Fauzi made the remarks during a visit to observe the CKG implementation at the Bali Provincial Health Office.

“This is an initiative that should be expanded to reach more of the public. In addition, this initiative can help build trust that local health centers (puskesmas) are able to provide services that meet standards,” she remarked.

According to the minister, CKG is one of the government's quick-win programs aimed at increasing public access to healthcare.

“The government is making various efforts to ensure that people can enjoy their rights, including the right to health, through the CKG program,” Fauzi explained.

The minister remarked that the CKG program is an effort to strengthen health protection for women and children while also supporting the realization of Golden Indonesia 2045.

“I encourage all of you to invite your families, neighbors, and the surrounding community to participate in this free health screening,” Fauzi emphasized.

Meanwhile, Head of the Bali Provincial Health Office, Gede Anom, said his side took the initiative to provide CKG to civil servants to build public trust in healthcare services provided by the government.

“In the future, all civil servants in Bali will gradually take part in this program,” he stated.
