"Collaboration between ministries and agencies is enabled through data synchronization. Hopefully, this (immigration system) will offer convenience for both Indonesian and foreign citizens," he remarked during a review of immigration services at the airport on Tuesday.
He stated that the Indonesian government launched trials for the one-stop digital immigration system in July 2025, focusing on Bali's international airport, Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang, and Juanda Airport in Surabaya.
The minister noted that the system remains under close observation and would be evaluated to achieve optimal performance.
"We are still in the trial phase involving the three airports. In essence, this initiative is a joint project integrating the work of the Ministry of Immigration and Corrections, the Finance Ministry, and the Health Ministry," Andrianto stated.
The All Indonesia system streamlines procedures for international passengers by enabling submission of all necessary information regarding immigration, customs and excise, health, and quarantine via a single integrated digital platform.
This innovation is expected to boost tourist arrivals and attract greater investment to Indonesia.
I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport remains one of Indonesia's busiest and most prominent entry points for foreign visitors.
Data from the Bali office of Statistics Indonesia (BPS) shows about 3.28 million foreign nationals visited Bali in the first half of 2025, marking a 12.68 percent increase from the same period last year.
In comparison, the total number of international tourists in 2024 reached 6.33 million, up from 5.27 million the previous year.
